Real Time Data Ingestion Platform (RTDIP, formerly popular as SSIP) is the solution of choice leveraging PaaS (Platform as a Service) services along with some custom components to provide Data Ingestion, Data Transformation, and Data Sharing as a platform. RTDIP can interface with several data sources to ingest many data types which include time series, alarms video, photos and lab data. Metadata by different sources like PI, OPC UA, and API's is used making it a true Real-Time Data Platform.

The data can be shared via Shell approved architecture patterns and services the data needs of applications like Digital Twin, C3.ai, SeeQ, and business-specific solutions by providing data as streaming or query-based batch transfer. Highly Scalable and Securethe data is ringfenced with approved security controls making it an ideal repository for SOV (Shell Operated Venture), NOV (Non-Operated Venture), JV (Joint Venture) as well as Third Party Data. The technology stack in RTDIP is a standard offering that helps onboarding and deployment of any new asset data sources with agility and quick turnaround.

For example, the Tag Data provided by RTDIP is the lifeline of C3.ai. Building new ML capabilities for C3.ai, which is powering the Predictive Asset Maintenance program. The easily accessible Real-Time Data will be used by Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and software developers in Shell to develop, build and deploy advanced AI and ML capabilities.
