A little bit about us...

Produce Hydrocarbon Energy Accounting (PHEA) is a software application designed to handle the data acquisition, production monitoring, reporting, calculations, and hydrocarbon accounting of everything that is produced, injected and disposed of from the reservoir i.e., oil, gas, water, salt, contaminants, steam, surfactants and dilutants etc.
At Shell there are 21 installations of EC including 75 environments (each asset having development in few assets, test, acceptance, and production). Shell EC Assets are as follows - OMAN, BGC, HALE, NAMEC, NOV, OILSANDS, PRELUDE, QGC, QSGTL, SBEP, SCAN, SEPCO, SHARPE, SMEP, SNEPCO, SPDC, LNGC, SURE, TT, WGT. Out of the modules that EC offers – Production, Transport, Sales and Revenue, Production module is predominantly used at all the Shell assets.
Energy Components is tool used for PHEA (Produce Hydrocarbon Energy Accounting) in upstream. Traditionally: Hydrocarbon Accounting (HCA) has Production module, transport, sales and revenue modules, used across all Shell assets
Current: Hydro Carbon Management (HCM) module is been implemented for LNG Canada (Wargaming).

SMEP CPL Reporting

The Current Potential Level (CPL) is a monthly report that provides a forecast of field production of each hub for the following month + 90days and to derive the monthly Gas Delivery Schedule (GDS) as Gas Sales commitment to downstream LNG customer

QGC AIF INTERFACE

Integration of EC OGC with AiF for Performance Reporting and Re-route the production, deferment, and OP/BP data into GPD directly from EC-QGC and stop the EC-NOV allocation. SSPR3 global database views and SSPLOC local view along with a ECIS data uploader to upload facility forecast data was implemented.

WGT BPM Automation

The BPM can automatically run the required checks on the data. This way there is no need for the HAE (Hydrocarbon Allocation Engineer) team to check manually so they can concentrate on their non-transactional work.

SBEP Daily Production Report Automation

The scope of this project is to automate the generation of the Daily Production Report for Shell Brasil E&P Assets, eliminating manual intervention on data collection, daily dashboards and graphs creation. The deliverable will replace the current excel files with a solution that will enable real-time (Day -2) dashboards & automatically generate reports based on data in existing source systems (i.e., EC, AIF, CEP BDOs etc.).

LNGC Canada

To deliver Energy Components HCM module for LNG Canada for their LNG Plant and Cargo Management operations.

FPP

Automating the forecast planning, creations of forecast and scenarios ,daily field forecast calculations, forecast event and reporting via BPM configured in EC.

Reports migrations from SAP BO to PowerBI

The Reports migrations from SAP BO to PowerBI, having optimizing the SQL code (datasets) according to PowerBI standards.

Evergreen upgrades of Energy components

Regularly upgrading the application with patch/minor/major version ( with small iterative upgrades), at frequent intervals.

NAMEC BPM

In the daily WGT EC process there is data exchange between WGT EC and NAMEC and DiTo and third parties.

With over 15 years in the Energy Industry, including 5+ as a Shell employee, Geetanjali Maithani: Boasts an outstanding technical and leadership pedigree. Starting as a Process Engineer in the Oil and Gas sector, she made significant contributions to Refinery Process Industries, notably in the Main Mother Crude and Catalytic Reformer units. Additionally, she has excelled in software solutioning as a Lead Business Analyst. In 2017, she furthered her expertise with SIMPL (Shell India Markets Private Limited). Geetanjali is adept with the Petroleum Experts IPSM toolkit, driving its development and global deployment for Shell. Her comprehensive expertise spans both downstream and upstream sectors. With a well-earned reputation among stakeholders, she's significantly influenced downstream processes and asset optimization. Additionally, her notable contributions as a business analyst in LNG & Non LNG supply chain tools for Qatar Gas and leading oil and gas entities highlight her prowess in domain application development and delivery. Getting to know Geetanjali: A passionate individual from Northern India, now based in Bangalore since 2010. Beyond her Chemical Engineering degree (B. Tech.) from Kanpur University, she's an avid traveler, sports enthusiast, and enjoys weekend outings with loved ones. Her zest for life is palpable in every endeavor.
