CRUISE - Catalytic Reforming Unit Integrated Simulation Environment
CRUISE stands for Catalytic Reformer Unit Integrated Simulation Environment.
CRUISE is capable of doing periodic performance monitoring on all catalytic reformer unit types. It’s core predictive capability comes from a first principle kinetic model called CROUP, but it also contains simplified modelling shortcuts know as the Process Guide Correlations or EPOS. It gives a full prediction of all liquid and gas yields at a near molecular level, compares it with actual measured yields, do diagnostics on the deltas and recommend corrective measures for optimum plant performance. CRUISE can also function as a detailed and full-scale simulator to generate predictions for designs, revamps, process studies and supply chain scheduling LP models.
Catalytic Reformer Unit
The Catalytic Reformer Unit in the refinery produces hydrogen and feeds the cat- and hydrocracking units that consume hydrogen. Any additional demand is imported or created on site in dedicated Hydrogen plant.
