SITUATION / Business REQUIREMENT / CHALLENGE

• To bring the actual production, purchase, stock transfers and concentrations happening through the pipelines in manufacturing sites from PI system to OMP for reference and visibility
• Integration(PI to GSAP to OMP) to leverage the existing sales pipeline actuals interface
• Bring all actual volumes moving through the pipelines into GSAP on the Stock Overlay tool table setup
• Remove dependency from Advisor Tool

OUR STRATEGY

• Establish connection between Pi – MuleSoft - GSAP
• Reuse and Replicate the solution across Europe/America/Canada regions
• Use of Market standard integration tool MuleSoft to integrate between Pi and GSAP
• Use of PI web API and Custom/Functional Pi AF hierarchy base approach to templatize and replicate across multiple asset
• PI AF analysis to replace calculation created in another tool like Advisor
• Different mapping tables will be created to identify the pipeline PI tags for production, purchase and stock transfers and the same mapping tables will be replicated (or modelled) to read the volume in SOT table

RESULTS DELIVERED

• All actual volumes moving through the pipelines has been brought into GSAP on the Stock Overlay tool table setup
• Data to be exported from PI to GSAP on daily basis and same will be exported from GSAP to OMP 3 times day as per existing Dispatcher job setup
• OMP will create reference lines / dashboard to view these volumes in OPR

Key achievement – Integration with Pi –MuleSoft and GSAP. Easy to be replicated across other Assets
