Introduction

• Since early 2020, Shell has put significant focus towards identifying the most promising Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology.
• During the coming 2 years, 3 new plants will come into operation for piloting/demonstrating the DAC technology at different scales. The proper handling of the large amounts of data produced at these sites will be a critical success factor for the DAC project.
• The DAC project has a rNPV of 120 million USD.
• Currently we have created and deployed Power BI dashboard for monitoring the DAC KPI's.
